IEntry · The Fatal Overdose
Body horror cue for medical dread and tragic mortality: fading heartbeats and sonic collapse.
The cue is a slow deceleration: a heartbeat that begins regular, loses its interval and finally drops below the audible floor while the harmony flattens out above it. Nothing is added after the first ten seconds — everything is subtraction.
For overdose, surgery and death scenes, and for any moment where a body fails and the room has to notice.
