IEntry · The Beautiful Wrongness
Psychological orchestral cue: a theme that never quite resolves, bowed strings and glass harmonics circling something beautiful and wrong.
Consonance held one note too long. The theme is attractive on first hearing and increasingly uncomfortable on the third repetition, because the harmony keeps arriving somewhere adjacent to where the ear expects. It is the studio's thesis in a single cue.
For seduction, possession-by-invitation and any beauty the film does not want the audience to trust.
