IEntry · Quarter-Eater Poltergeist
Cosmic horror cue: otherworldly, disorienting electroacoustic anomalies and poltergeist energy.
The cue takes a mundane source — an arcade cabinet, its relays and its coin mechanism — and treats it as an instrument that has stopped obeying its own rules. Tones arrive from the wrong side of the stereo field, which is the disorientation the title promises.
For possessed objects, haunted machines and any scene where something ordinary has become wrong.
